His passion for sharing the diverse flavours of his homeland, Nepal, inspired by family recipes and the spirit of the Gurkhas, who are known for their courage, honour, and dedication.

At Panas Gurkha, we believe great food should nourish more than just the body. It should strengthen communities and uplift those in need. That’s why, for over five years, we’ve proudly supported weekly food drives for the homeless in partnership with Woolwich Service Users Project (WSUP) in Woolwich, offering free meals every Tuesday.
This initiative began during the difficult days of the COVID-19 pandemic and has since become part of who we are. Inspired by the global Giving Tuesday movement, we’ve now set ourselves an ambitious goal: to help deliver 10 million free meals to vulnerable people across the UK. For us, hospitality isn’t just what happens inside our restaurant, it’s a responsibility we carry beyond our doors.
